S8UL Esports has signed Ved Beelzeboy Bamb, the Pokémon GO World Champion and India's first esports world champion, as part of its global expansion. Beelzeboy, a Nagpur-based software developer, joins a roster that aims to elevate Indian talent on the world stage while balancing a technology career with competitive play.

S8UL Esports has signed Ved "Beelzeboy" Bamb, the Pokémon GO World Champion. The organisation announced the move on March 12 in Mumbai. Beelzeboy became India’s first world champion in esports in August 2025. He won the Pokémon GO World Championship in Anaheim, California, beating Spain’s Leo "P4T0M4N" Marín.

The signing underlines S8UL’s aim to grow across global esports titles. It also adds a world champion to its roster. Beelzeboy hails from Nagpur and is a software developer. He began playing Pokémon GO in 2016 and rose through regional and international events with steady results.

Commenting on the signing, Animesh Agarwal, aka 8Bit Thug, Co-Founder of S8UL and 8Bit Creatives, said, "Pokémon is where it all began for many of us as kids - the first battles, the first rivalries, and the first love for competitive play.

He added, "Our commitment to the Pokémon esports ecosystem continues as we welcome Beelzeboy to the S8UL family. His historic victory showed the world what Indian players are capable of, and we're excited for what lies ahead as we keep building from the roots of gaming to the global stage."

Outside competition, Ved works as a software developer. He balances his technology career with his esports schedule. His path reflects the range of careers now seen in esports. It also shows how Indian players can manage full-time jobs with top-level competitive play.

Sharing his thoughts on joining S8UL, Ved "Beelzeboy" Bamb said, "Winning the Pokémon GO World Championship was a dream come true, and it was incredibly special to represent India on the biggest stage. Joining S8UL is another exciting chapter in that journey.

He continued, "The organisation has consistently elevated Indian esports globally, and I'm thrilled to be part of a team that shares the same vision of pushing boundaries. Together, we'll try our best to bring many more laurels for the country and inspire the next generation of players."

S8UL is one of India’s most decorated esports organisations. It fields teams across several competitive games and runs a large gaming content group. The arrival of Beelzeboy strengthens its push into emerging esports ecosystems and underlines its focus on nurturing leading Indian talent for global stages.
