SAI held by Army Boys in Subroto Cup pre-quarters

New Delhi, Sep 20 (UNI) Sports Authority of India (Kolkata) and Boys Sports Company (Army Boys), Bangalore played out a 1-1 draw in the pre-quarterfinal league of the Junior (U-17) section of the Subroto Cup here today.

KH Tej Kumar Singh gave the Army Boys the lead in the 52nd min.

Ranjan Mistry levelled the scores just a couple of minutes later to salvage a point for the Kolkata team.

The match between Modern School (Kohima) and Govt Senior Secondary School (Haryana) in the same section was decided in favour of Nagaland as the Haryana team failed to turn up.

The teams who qualified for the Quarter-Final round are: Sub-Juniors: Mizoram, NCC (WB&S), Army Boys, Assam, Delhi, SAI, Orissa, Chandigarh.

Juniors: Army Boys, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Bangladesh, Nagaland, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Mizoram.
