Kuldip Malik who is the coach of national female wrestlers, said, “I also have asked Sakshi to concentrate only on wrestling now and forget everything about the functions and felicitation programmes. Otherwise, in future it will be too tough for her to win championships."

When asked about how she will start preparing herself on the mat, Sakhshi revealed, "I have planned to watch video clippings of Sushil Kumar's bronze and silver winning matches in the London and Bejing Olympics. And then I will also try to watch Yogeswar Dutt's training video before starting practice on the mat."

Sakshi also quipped, “Actually the wrestlers like us need a lot of exposure trips to develop the standard of our game because during the exposure trips we get tough practice partners as well as technically equipped foreign coaches. So, practising against stronger opponents under the careful observation of foreign coaches during the exposure trips always helps the wrestlers to improve their standard of game."

It has been learnt that Sakhshi has asked the Federation to send her to Uzbekistan or Russia for exposure trip.
