Sanik school student sets record in Para-sailing

Purulia, Oct 10 (UNI) Primary school student Akshata Kumar created a new record by flying 70 feet high through para- sailing at Sainik School ground here today.

Bijay Kaushal, Principal of the school claimed that it was a new record set by an infant.

Director of the organising unit, Daya Sarkar Mishra told UNI that we are referring the matter to the authority in Limca Book of records to include his name for the rare feat.

His father Major Soishir Kumar, Registrar, Purulia Sainik School expressed his satisfaction as his son braved to fly so high which was not recorded earlier by an infant.
