Sanjeev Deopa will lead AG Haryana

Chandigarh, Feb 18 (UNI) Sanjeev Deopa will lead AG Haryana in the North Zone Audit Football Tournament to be played here from February 19 to 21.

Other members of the team are: Kulwinder Singh, Shiv Onkar, Prithvi Singh, Sanjeev, Gopi, Deepak Gurang, Varinder, Daljit Singh, Bhole Nath, Suraj, Rajesh, Harvinder Paul and Arvind Pathak.

Meanwhile, all arrangements have been made for the tournament.

On the basis of their performance in the last North Zone tournament, Delhi and AG Haryana have been given the bye into the semi-finals.

All-India winners and North Zone runners-up AG Haryana and North Zone winners Delhi along with AG Punjab, Uttranchal and Uttar Pradesh will fight it out for top honours.

The winners and runners-up will qualify for the coming All-India Audit Football Tournament at Thiruvanthapuram in the second week of March.

Mr Onkar Nath, Auditor General (A and E) Punjab and Chandigarh will inaugurate the tournament tomorrow at 1400 hrs.

Mr R P Singh, Principal Accountant General (Audit) Punjab and Chandigarh will be the chief guest on February 21 and distribute the prizes.
