"Scantily-clad" starlets behind Pak's capitulation to Oz in Abu Dhabi?

By Super Admin

Abu Dhabi, May 2 (ANI): The Pakistani batting and bowling failed miserably to offer any challenge to the Australian team, which pocketed the series in Abu Dhabi by winning the fourth one day international match by eight wickets. But it seems that their lack-lustre performance was in part due them being star struck by "scantily-clad" Pakistani actresses the night before the crucial tie.

The Abu Dhabi Cricket Council (ADCC) had invited several Pakistani film and TV actresses such as Atiqa Odho, Maria Wasti, Ayesha Umer, and Anushey to support their team and uplift their morale, but they proved more of a distraction for the players, as Pakistan lost both the match and the series to an almost second string Australian team.

According to reports, the PCB officials got so involved in welcoming and looking after their 'pretty' guests, that they even forgot their duties.

The PCB's Director (cricket operations) Zakir Khan was particularly seen comforting the star guest before the match, The Daily Times reports.

He even called captain Younis Khan and Coach Intikhab Alam to leave the practice session ahead of the important match, and get photographed with the actresses.

The actresses were seen chatting with the players in the team hotel as well. (ANI)
