Security up at Chinnaswamy Stadium

Bangalore, Sep 28 (UNI) Police today pressed into service, an additional anti sabotage bomb disposal and sniffer dog squads as part of security arrangements for the day and night ODI between India and Australia at M Chinnaswamy Stadium here tomorrow.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) B N S Reddy told reporters in the presence of President of Karnataka State Cricket Association(KSCA) Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar that more than 3,000 police personel were deployed for the first ODI.

Bangalore police made unprecedented security arrangements for the match. ''We have have taken all precautionary measures for the smooth conduct of the match,'' he added.
