Sevilla keeper's reunion gets a bit fruity

MADRID, Jan 11 (Reuters) Sevilla goalkeeper David Cobeno was bombarded with fruit and vegetables from a flat that overlooked Rayo Vallecano's stadium during their goalless King's Cup clash.

''I've never experienced anything like it. It must have emptied the larder. I know which one it is, it's on the fourth floor because I spent a lot of time there,'' the former Rayo keeper told sports daily Marca today.

''They threw everything at me. The potatoes were very big.'' He said he had spoken to the referee about the first half incident but as the objects came from outside the ground there was nothing they could do.
