Oklahoma City Thunder's coach, Mark Daigneault, expressed admiration for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's exceptional performance in their win against the Indiana Pacers. Gilgeous-Alexander matched his career-best with 45 points in the 120-114 victory. He scored a personal best of 16 points in the fourth quarter, successfully making 15 out of 22 shots. This followed his impressive 41-point game against the Washington Wizards.

Gilgeous-Alexander became the first Thunder player to score over 40 points in consecutive games since Russell Westbrook in 2019. Coach Daigneault was full of praise for him, stating, "Shai was outstanding tonight. That was a masterpiece. I mean, he was at his own pace the entire night. I thought he moved it out of the early helps and got his teammates activated, but great blend of passing and attacking, great blend of shooting and attacking. He just had total control of the wheel tonight."

In addition to Gilgeous-Alexander's stellar performance, Jalen Williams contributed significantly by scoring 20 points.
