Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Scores 33 Points As Oklahoma City Thunder Achieve Seventh Consecutive Victory

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 33 points, leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to their seventh straight win over the Sacramento Kings. The Thunder improved to 15-1 with this decisive victory.

The Oklahoma City Thunder secured their seventh consecutive victory by defeating the Sacramento Kings 113-99. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the charge with 33 points, while Chet Holmgren contributed 21 points. Lu Dort added 14 points in the second half, including 11 in the final quarter. This win improved the Thunder's record to 15-1, maintaining their dominance over the Kings this season.

Alperen Sengun and Kevin Durant were instrumental in extending the Houston Rockets' winning streak to five games. Sengun scored 28 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, while Durant added 20 points in their 114-104 triumph over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Aaron Holiday was crucial in the fourth quarter, scoring 14 of his 18 points to help secure the win for Houston.

Thunder Win Seventh Straight with Gilgeous-Alexander's 33 Points

The Thunder have been on a remarkable run since their only loss to Portland. They have won every game by an average margin of 20.3 points, all by double digits. Their recent victories include a commanding 24-point win over Golden State and a decisive 29-point triumph against the Los Angeles Lakers on consecutive nights at home.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls narrowly edged out the Portland Trail Blazers with a thrilling finish. Nikola Vucevic hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer to clinch a 122-121 victory for Chicago. Vucevic ended with 27 points, while Coby White contributed significantly off the bench with 25 points.

The Rockets' strong performance has seen them improve to a record of 10-1 after starting with two losses. Jabari Smith Jr. and Amen Thompson also made notable contributions, scoring 14 and 12 points respectively. De'Andre Hunter led Cleveland with 25 points, but it wasn't enough as they fell to a record of 2-2 during their six-game homestand.

The Kings struggled without Domantas Sabonis, who missed the game due to left knee soreness. Dennis Schroder and DeMar DeRozan tried to fill the void by scoring 21 and 17 points respectively, but it wasn't enough to prevent Sacramento from suffering their seventh straight defeat.

Bulls Edge Out Blazers

Deni Avdija's three-pointer had tied the game for Portland at one point, and Donovan Clingan's layup gave them a brief lead late in the game. However, White's timely three-pointer brought Chicago within striking distance before Vucevic sealed it with his clutch shot.

The Trail Blazers' Jerami Grant scored an impressive 33 points despite their recent struggles. The team has now lost four consecutive games and six out of their last seven matchups.

Evan Mobley contributed with an additional effort for Cleveland by scoring 18 points but struggled at the free throw line, missing six out of ten attempts. Jarrett Allen added eight points and seven rebounds for Cleveland during this challenging stretch of games.
