Shashank Manohar re-elected VCA President unopposed
Nagpur, Aug 4 (UNI) Shashank Manohar was today re-elected the President of the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) unopposed for 2007-2009.
Mr Manohar is Vice President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Similarly, Wijay Chitaley was re-elected the Secretary for the two-year term.
The entire team of office bearers of VCA has been elected unopposed, with M N Dorairajan and Sudhir Dabir as Vice Presidents, Shiraj Gimi and Rajeev Gokhale the Joint Secretaries, and Prakash Dixit the Treasurer.
The voting was slated for tomorrow, but had been rendered unnecessary.
