Shruti cruises to victory

New Delhi, Feb 7 (UNI) Shruti Khanna vanquished all her younger rivals and cruised to a seven-stroke victory to claim her third Billoo Sethi Challenge Golf Trophy at the Delhi Golf Course here today.

By virtue of today's triumph she will be the first seed in the All India Match Play which starts tomorrow.

Following up her first round 74 with a 75, she finished four-over for 36 holes. 14-year-old Laverry Kumar showed grit and glimpse of talent as she finished runners up in spite of running into problems on the back nine.

Meghna Bal got her game together today to bring in a four-over 76, six strokes better than her first round, to finish in third position.
