Skylar Diggins Achieves Historic Triple-Double In WNBA All-Star Game Victory
Skylar Diggins achieved a significant milestone in the WNBA All-Star game, making history as Team Collier triumphed over Team Clark. On Saturday, Team Collier secured a 151-131 victory, with captain Napheesa Collier setting a record by scoring 36 points, including four 4-pointers. Meanwhile, Diggins became the first player to achieve a triple-double in the All-Star game, finishing with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 15 assists.
Despite finishing last in Friday's 3-point skills challenge, Diggins delivered an outstanding performance on Saturday. She expressed her determination to succeed after the skills challenge disappointment. "I was p***** that I got last in the skills challenge," Diggins said with a smile. "We came out here to have fun, but I wanted to leave here with something. That's what I said when I got on the bus."

Nneka Ogwumike participated in her tenth All-Star game on Saturday, marking her fourth consecutive selection. She joined an elite group of players who have received ten All-Star nods, including Sue Bird (13), Diana Taurasi (11), Tamika Catchings, and Brittney Griner (both 10). Ogwumike also became the all-time leading scorer in WNBA All-Star history by contributing 16 points for Team Collier.
Reflecting on her journey and the growth of women's basketball, Ogwumike shared her thoughts: "I've been playing for a really long time. I loved this league before I even entered it. It's been amazing to see the evolution of this All-Star Game, of the fans, of the players." She acknowledged the remarkable players and dedicated fans who form the backbone of the league.
