Sonali Shibir enter final

Rourkela, Feb 1 (PTI) Sonali Shibir, Kolkata, enteredthe final of the 7th All India Biju Patnaik memorial footballtournament defeating Homeguard, Cuttack 5-3 vio tie-breaker atthe Ispat Stadium here today.



Both the teams failed to score in the first half.

Santosh Behera of Homeguard, Cuttack scored the first goal inthe 58th minute.



The equaliser came throuh Nandagopal Ray in the 72ndminute. Although homeguard, Cuttack mostly dominated the gameit failed to score missing several opportunities.



Both the teams were locked 1-1 in the stipulated timeand went for tie-breaker.



In the tie-breaker Sonali Shibir netted four goalswhile the homeguards scored two.



Altogether 10 teams from different parts of thecountry are taking part in the tournament.
