South bt Central Zone in inaugural match

Tiruchirapalli, May 2 (UNI) Hosts South Zone beat Central Zone 25-15, 21-25, 25-15, 19-25 and 15-6 in the inaugural match of the All India Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factories Inter Zone Volleyball Tournament here tonight.

In another preliminary round robin league match, holders North Zone beat last year's runners-up West Zone in three straight sets, 25-10, 25-18, 25-7.
