Sports Calendar 2024: Paris Olympics, T20 World Cup To Euro – Dates Of Major Sporting Events This Year

Sports Calendar 2024: The year 2024 will be an eventful year, packed with some major sporting events like the Paris Olympics, the T20 World Cup in USA and West Indies as well as the continental men's football tournaments.

The year kicks off with the postponed AFC Asian Cup 2023 in Qatar, where the Blue Tigers will be in action for the second successive edition, followed by the ICC U19 Men's Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka, and the African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

The action doesn't stop there in January as the first month of the year will see more cricketing action with India hosting Afghanistan in the second week, and later England from the end of the month till March, when IPL also will be held before the T20 World Cup in June.

Apart from cricket, the usual badminton tournaments on the BWF World Tour as well as the many Tennis Grand Slam events, Formula 1 races, hockey and various other sports as well as multi-sport events will be held throughout the year. Here is a look at the sport-wise calendar for 2024:
