Srinath appointed Match Refree for Abu Dhabi series

New Delhi, May 15 (UNI) The International Cricket Council (ICC) has appointed former India paceman Javagal Srinath as the Match Referee for the three-match ODI series between Sri Lanka and Pakistan to be played in Abu Dhabi from May 18.

Meanwhile, the on-field umpires for the first ODI will be Mark Benson of England and India's Suresh Shastri, while Zimbabwe's Russell Tiffin will be the third umpire. The second ODI on May 20 will be officiated by Shastri and Tiffin with Benson as the TV umpire, while Benson and Tiffin will officiate the final ODI on May 22 and Shastri will don the third umpiring duties.
