Top-ranked Stamp Fairtex knows a thing or two about winning World Titles. But the feeling of the ONE Atomweight MMA World Title wrapped around her waist is the one thing that has eluded her.
The Fairtex fighter is resilient, though. And on Saturday, 30 September, Stamp will take one-step closer to her dream when she faces #2-ranked contender Ham Seo Hee for the ONE Interim Atomweight MMA World Title at ONE Fight Night 14 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The Thai megastar earned the chance to face Ham following her thunderous stoppage of Alyse Anderson this past May at ONE Fight Night 10 in the United States. While the finish came via her signature striking, Stamp managed to showcase the evolution of her grappling prowess.
As a result, her all-round improvements had the U.S. fans cheering her name in Denver, Colorado. And should she receive the opportunity, Stamp would be more than happy to return to the West.
"I was really excited and surprised that the U.S. crowd was chanting my name louder than their representative. It made me feel proud when I knew that I was their favorite," Stamp said.
"And I also learned that I was well-known in America. I'm excited about [these] upcoming four shows in the U.S. And I'm more than happy to take part again."
Former ONE Atomweight MMA World Title challenger Stamp Fairtex almost claimed the crown in her meeting with Angela Lee at ONE X. But after stinging Lee with a brutal body shot, the Fairtex athlete's nerves got the best of her.
One round later, a rejuvenated Lee managed to submit Stamp with a rear-naked choke. Stamp learned many lessons from that loss. Now, having gone 2-0 since then, the dancing dazzler has certainly taken them in stride heading into ONE Fight Night 14 against Ham Seo Hee.
"What I've learned from fighting with Angela Lee is that you have to finish as soon as you have the chance, don't be careless, and you have to constantly look for an opponent's weaknesses," Stamp said.
"I got a body blow, but I hesitated to follow through on the same spot. I hit her in the face instead, that was my biggest mistake. Another lesson for me is not to get too excited.
"Because I can't do anything efficiently when I'm in a panic. After that fight, I found out that I'm calmer and cooler now. I'm more intelligent now. I think I could have focused better on the fight."
