Three-sport ONE World Champion Stamp Fairtex became a legend late last year. There, she added the vacant ONE Women's Atomweight MMA World Title to her collection. Now that the dust has settled on her achievement, the time has come for her to defend her crown.

Stamp makes the first defense of her World Title against #2-ranked atomweight contender Denice Zamboanga at ONE 167 on Saturday, 8 June, live from Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Early in her ONE Championship career, the Thai megastar faced a who's who of competition across kickboxing and Muay Thai. That led to her holding World Titles in both striking sports at the same time.

But when Stamp shifted focus to MMA, it was only a matter of time before gold came her way. Stamp first challenged former queen Angela Lee for the World Title at ONE X in March 2022, where she showed glimpses of her pedigree.

Stamp hurt Lee early on, almost shocking the combat sports world before succumbing to a submission loss in the second round. But the Thai queen returned to Fairtex Training Center to map out her next moves. As it turned out, those steps were pivotal to her success.

From there, Stamp amassed a three-fight winning streak in MMA, overcoming Jihin Radzuan before following that up with a second-round knockout of Alyse Anderson in ONE's U.S. debut in May 2023.

Those victories provided Stamp with the opportunity to vie for the vacant crown following Lee's retirement at ONE Fight Night 14. On that day, Stamp went on to make history by toppling MMA veteran Ham Seo Hee in the third round to become the first-ever three-sport ONE World Champion.

Her monumental achievement is now etcheed in the history books. But as the saying goes, becoming champion is easier than staying champion, and Zamboanga looks to bring Stamp's glory to a sudden stop.

The formidable Filipino has also enjoyed a strong run in recent outings. Zamboanga managed to put back-to-back wins together, overcoming Lin Heqin before besting Julie Mezabarba to become a standout member of the atomweight MMA division.

Over the course of five years, "The Menace" has worked with rigor to reach World Title contention. With that said, this moment marks a monumental breakthrough for her. Now that she has arrived, Zamboanga plans to leave Bangkok, Thailand, with the gold and leave everyone in a state of shock.
