State Level Taekwondo Championship on March 11

Puducherry, Mar 9 (UNI) As many as 1,000 participants would participate in the third State Level Taekwondo championships, which would begin here on March 11.

Talking to newspersons here today Puducherry Taekwondo Sports Association General Secretary P Stalin said Chief Minister N Rangasamy would inagurate the championships while Lt Governor Mukut Mithi would take part in the prize distribution ceremony.

Senior, junior and sub-junior participants from all the four regions of the Union Territory would be there and the first three places would qualify for the national level championships and also for SAI scholarships, he added.
