The Los Angeles Sparks secured a narrow victory over the Indiana Fever, with Azura Stevens contributing significantly with 21 points and 12 rebounds. This win marks the Sparks' second triumph against the Fever within nine days.

Azura Stevens delivered an impressive performance with 21 points and 12 rebounds, while Kelsey Plum contributed 20 points. The Los Angeles Sparks secured a narrow victory over the Fever, winning 89-87 in Indianapolis. This marked their second win there in just over a week. The Fever played without Caitlin Clark, who missed her fifth game due to a groin injury.

The game remained tight throughout, with the Sparks' largest lead being three points in the first quarter. Meanwhile, the Fever managed to pull ahead by eight points midway through the third quarter. Dearica Hamby added 18 points for the Sparks, and Rickea Jackson scored 15, including a crucial basket that put them ahead 88-87 with less than a minute remaining.

Sparks Win Again Against Fever in Indiana

In the final moments, Indiana missed five consecutive shots, four of which were in the last minute. Stevens grabbed a rebound from one of these misses and was fouled, making a free throw with just over three seconds left. Despite using their reset timeout, Indiana's Aliyah Boston missed a potential game-winning shot from the top of the key.

Boston led Indiana with an impressive 23 points and 12 rebounds. Natasha Howard also had a strong performance with 21 points and nine rebounds. Despite these efforts, Indiana couldn't secure the win against Los Angeles.

Napheesa Collier led the Minnesota Lynx to victory against the Golden State Valkyries with her 22-point contribution. The Lynx overcame a brief deficit when Golden State took a two-point lead in the third quarter after Tiffany Hayes sparked a run with two three-pointers. However, Minnesota responded strongly.

The Lynx closed out the third quarter on a dominant run to take a nine-point lead into the fourth quarter. Kayla McBride extended this lead further with her three-pointer late in the game. Courtney Williams added 15 points for Minnesota, while McBride contributed another 12.

Golden State's Tiffany Hayes scored a season-high of 23 points but it wasn't enough to secure victory for her team. Kayla Thornton added 13 points but struggled after her strong start in the first quarter. Stephanie Talbot chipped in with ten points as well.

Both games showcased intense competition and individual brilliance on court. While Los Angeles narrowly edged out Indiana thanks to clutch plays by Stevens and Jackson, Minnesota's teamwork helped them overcome Golden State's challenge effectively.
