Stupa Sports Analytics, an indigenous leader in sports analytics, has joined forces with Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) to propel the WTT Star Contender, which is scheduled to be held in Goa from January 23 to 28, 2024.

Stupa Sports Analytics has been instrumental in introducing the Star Contender to the Indian audience, a tournament that stands as a beacon of prestige in the global table tennis circuit.

The previous edition in Goa was graced by the crème de la crème of the sport, with the likes of Fan Zhendong, the top-ranked paddler globally, alongside Tomokazu Harimoto, Wang Yidi, and Hina Hayata, amongst others. Notably, this event also registered the highest participation of Indian athletes in a WTT event, with 40 players competing.

This strategic alliance between Stupa and UTT is poised to further amplify the tournament's allure and fortify its position as a hallmark event in India. The incentive is high, with a substantial $250,000 prize pool and the chance to secure ranking points and qualify for the WTT Cup Finals and WTT Champions Series.

Stupa Sports Analytics and UTT will co-host the event, with the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) providing oversight.
