‘I’ve Cleared My Head’- Superlek Eyes Comeback Against Abdulla Dayakaev At The Inner Circle Bantamweight

Superlek says he has rediscovered himself before facing Abdulla Dayakaev. The bantamweight Muay Thai bout headlines The Inner Circle on 15 May. The event streams live on live.onefc.com. The 30-year-old Thai hopes a mental reset can repair a difficult 2025.

The former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion owns a 139-31 record. His ONE slate stands at 15-3, with wins over Jonathan Haggerty, Takeru Segawa, and Rodtang Jitmuangnon. Yet 2025 saw him lose his bantamweight Muay Thai crown on the scales.

Superlek Aims Return With Kicking Revival

That title loss came after a weight miss, then two defeats. Superlek says the problems went deeper than results in the ring. He battled injuries and personal distractions, which hurt his confidence and limited his training focus across the 2025 campaign.

Thai star details struggles and renewed mindset

"Last year was tough with injuries, plus I lost my confidence because of several outside issues. It made it so I couldn't train fully or focus 100 percent on each fight. I lost my identity," Superlek said about his 2025 difficulties.

He now feels his mindset has cleared ahead of Dayakaev. "I believe I can make a comeback and show better form. One thing is, I've cleared my head. My goals are clear now. My mental state is fine now. Win or lose next fight, I'm staying focused," he said.

'Kicking Machine' vows to revive trademark weapons

Superlek also plans to revive the heavy kicking game that built his "Kicking Machine" nickname. He admitted that recent outings did not show his usual style. He wants the Dayakaev fight to mark a full return to his trademark Muay Thai approach.

"This fight, I'm bringing back my true style: the 'Kicking Machine.' In my last few fights, I completely forgot who I was. I barely kicked at all. This time, I'm going back to kicking like I used to, and I've got some tricks ready to close the show," Superlek said.
