By Pti

Hobart, Jan 19 (AP) England spinner Graeme Swann has abadly bruised left knee and will be out of England''s lineupfor two weeks during the team''s limited-overs series againstAustralia.

England coach Andy Flower said today that Swann couldpossibly return for the sixth game of the seven-match one-dayseries in Sydney on February 2.

Swann received a knock on his left knee while batting inlast week''s first Twenty20 match against Australia inAdelaide.

"He has got a slightly deformed kneecap on his leftknee," Flower said. "He got hit and it is badly bruised and itis quite painful so he won''t be playing in this game and mighthave to rest for 10 days to two weeks.

"That does give (James) Tredwell the opportunitydepending on whether we want to pick two spinners or not."

Injured pace bowlers Stuart Broad and James Anderson willreturn to Australia to rejoin the England squad on Friday,Flower said.

Broad broke down with an abdominal strain during thesecond Ashes test in Adelaide in December and is still doingrecovery work.

Anderson was given time off after England''s triumphantAshes campaign, and missed the two T20 games and the firstone-dayer. He is expected to play in the fourth one-dayeragainst Australia in Adelaide on January 26.

Flower said he didn''t anticipate Broad to be fit to playin the one-day series.

"It is better for him to be out here rather than being inthe middle of an English winter," Flower said.

Australia won the first one-day match by six wickets andthe second match will be played Friday in Hobart. (AP) SNK
