Sweden squad against Liechtenstein and Northern

STOCKHOLM, Oct 2 (Reuters) Coach Lars Lagerback named a 23-man squad on Tuesday for Sweden's Euro 2008 qualifying matches against Liechtenstein and Northern Ireland later this month.

Sweden, who have a game in hand, top Group F standings with 19 points. Second placed Spain also have 19 while Northern Ireland have 16.

Inter Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic was included in the squad even though he is suspended for the game against Liechtenstein after picking up a yellow card in the 0-0 home draw with Denmark last month.

Sweden will face Liechtenstein on Oct. 13 and host Northern Ireland four days later.
