Swine flu scare hits Aussie camp

By Super Admin

Northampton (UK), July 23 (ANI): A newspaper reporter has been asked to leave the Australian Ashes camp after being struck down with swine flu.

According to The Sun, Ben Dorries, who writes for News Limited, started feeling the symptoms during the recent Lord's Test match before being diagnosed by a doctor over the telephone.

Ponting's side has told Dorries to stay away from players and staff for fear of the bug sweeping through the squad.

A Cricket Australia spokesman said: "Australian team medical staff have asked that Ben quarantine himself away from the Australian team and other cricketing media for the next three days. These measures are being taken as a precautionary step. There is no indication that anybody associated with the Australian team has the same symptoms." (ANI)
