Tamilnadu beat Haryana 5-0, Kerala down Chhatisgarh 3-0

Rourkela, May 5 (UNI) Tamil Nadu trounced Haryana 5-0, while Kerala defeated Chhattisgarh 3-0 in the quarter-final matches of the 15th Women's Senior National Football Championship at the Ispat Stadium here today.

Tamil Nadu were leading 1-0 from a goal from R Kalpana in the first half and buttressed the lead 5-0 as S Vasathi scored two goals in 55 and 63 minutes. Then Kalpana made the double and T Vidyabati netted the final goal.

In another match, last year's runners up Kerala defeated Chhatisgarh 3-0. C N Ajitha scored the first goal in 34 minutes while Angel Adolfus netted the second goal in 43 minutes and Sabitha took the tally to 3-0.
