Teen Phenom Adrian Lee Signs With ONE Championship, Set For Debut At ONE 167

Eighteen-year-old MMA prospect Adrian Lee will look to follow in the footsteps of his older brother and sister when he makes his ONE Championship debut this summer at ONE 167: Stamp vs. Zamboanga.

The younger sibling to current two-weight ONE MMA World Champion Christian Lee and former ONE Atomweight MMA World Champion Angela Lee meets Antonio Mammarella in lightweight action on Saturday, 8 June, inside Bangkok, Thailand's Impact Arena.

Although he just signed with ONE earlier this month and will be making his professional debut, Lee built a repertoire in the amateur circuit. He won amateur championships in MMA, kickboxing, and pankration, in addition to a state wrestling title in Hawaii.

But as the next chapter of his career gets underway, he'll have to put those accomplishments behind him because what he achieves at ONE 167 will act as the catalyst for his future in MMA.

While fans will have their eyes locked on Lee this coming June, his adversary Mammarella will relish the chance to step in the spotlight and spoil the party when he also makes his promotional debut.

The Australian battler recently entered the professional ranks himself, earning his first victory by TKO following a lengthy stint as an amateur that brought him plenty of experience in MMA.

Luckily for Mammarella, he'll have great company in the organization with MMAFFT teammates Coopar Royal and Faine Mesquita there to give him inside knowledge of all things ONE. That said, fans should expect him to rise to the occasion against Lee.

ONE 167 is headlined by the ONE Atomweight MMA World Title bout between defending queen Stamp Fairtex and #2-ranked Denice Zamboanga. In the co-main event, Tawanchai PK Saenchai runs it back with Jo Nattawut, this time for Tawanchai's ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title.
