The Inner Circle 33 Results: Regian Eersel Makes History With 12th World Title in Bangkok

New Delhi, Oct 3: Bangkok witnessed a changing of the record books on Friday, October 2, as The Inner Circle 33 and ONE Friday Fights 173 closed out another stacked night of action inside Lumpinee Stadium, headlined by a historic title defense.

In the Inner Circle 33 main event, Regian Eersel overcame an early knockdown off a George Jarvis left hook, trading knockdowns before a fourth-round stoppage to retain his ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Title for a fourth defense and make him the most decorated champion in ONE Championship history.

Before that, Duangdawnoi Looksaikongdin dropped Aline Seiberth with a head kick in round one, then controlled range behind push kicks and elbows for the rest of the fight, cracking her with a spinning elbow in round two to secure the unanimous decision and move to a perfect 4-0 in ONE.

In the headliner of ONE Friday Fights 173, Tonglampoon FA Group outlasted Dionatha Santos Tobias in a strawweight firefight, absorbing counters and uppercuts from the Brazilian before an elbow war and a left cross down the stretch swung the split decision in his favor, improving to 49-15.

Payakrut Suajantokmuaythai survived a third-round surge in the co-main event from Andrii Mezentsev, who opened a cut with hooks, but a second-round knockdown off a right hand down the middle proved decisive, sealing a split decision that snapped a two-fight skid and improved his record to 33-12.
