Bangalore, Feb 5: Looks like the golfing Tiger is stepping out of the Woods as there are reports that the sports superstar will be playing in the Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona.
The world's best golfer, who is currently being treated for sex addiction, is expected to walk out of the Mississippi rehab and into the golf course in a period of two weeks.
The Herald Sun of Melbourne, which broke the story, termed this development as a 'shock return'.
However, the PGA Tour has not confirmed the reports.
Contrary to the rumours that Woods will be making a comeback in the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill in Orlando, Woods has decided to return with the same tournament he did a year ago following knee surgery, the report notes.
Woods clinched the Accenture tournament thrice (2003, 2004 and 2008).
Interestingly, Accenture was the first sponsor to drop the golfer from their marketing campaigns after his multiple extramarital affairs surfaced in Dec 2009.
