New Jersey, Aug 26: The highest-paid professional athlete in the world, Tiger Woods admitted that the divorce had affected his career.
On Wednesday, Aug 25, Tiger Woods told the reporters that his divorce and the public scrutiny that followed the revelations of his numerous affairs has affected his play, as he prepared for the next leg of the FedEx Cup, the Barclays.
"It was certainly. Because being asked questions all the time, even after even as the tournaments are going I've been asked questions while we're playing. And that's always difficult. And especially when I'm trying to work on a few things, trying to find shots in order to get around the golf course, and to have to talk about other things," said Woods.
On Tuesday, Aug 24, Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren were officially divorced and were sharing the parenting of their two children. Woods is currently in the longest winless slump of his career and tied for the most majors he has gone without a title.
