Tiger Woods checks into sex rehab centre: Report

New York, Jan 13: A month after the multiple extramarital affairs spilled out of Tiger Woods' closet, the golfer has reportedly admitted himself into a sex rehabilitation centre in Arizona.

According to a report in People Magazine, the 34-year-old golfer has checked into The Meadows in the beginning of the new year.

The Meadows is a rehab clinic which treats substance abuse and compulsive disorders such as gambling or sex addiction.

Woods is expected to be out in around five weeks.

The magazine quoted as source as saying, "He should be out by Valentine's Day or thereabouts."

"He has been there for a few days since his handlers forced him to enter the programme. They feel that if he blames his cheating on addiction, the public will forgive him," sources told the entertainment magazine.

The Jan 12 report came amid speculations on the whereabouts of the scandal-tainted golfer.

"Tiger wants to get back on top. He agreed to put golfing on hold so he could show the world how badly he feels about what he's done and to prove that he wants to correct the problems that led to his infidelity," the source said.
