Nike ad: Woods poised for a 360 degree comeback

Bangalore, Apr 8: Nike released a new ad featuring the scandal-tainted golfing great, Tiger Woods on Wednesday, Apr 7 on ESPN. With this new commercial Tiger Woods is poised for a 360 degree comeback.

The golfer's sexcapades not only forced him to take a five-month break from the sport but also led to Woods being dropped as the brand ambassador of major companies and brands such as Accenture and Gillette.

The golfer is set to take over the golf course again with his campaign in the US Masters, Augusta.

Now, he has again donned the avatar of an ambassador for Nike in the new ad. The black and white commercial features an emotionless and speechless Tiger Woods with the voiceover of his deceased father, Earl Woods, playing on the background.

The ad may just be the beginning of the golfer's fight to rebrand himself to what he was before his sex scandal sullied his image completely.
