Tiger Woods finishes fourth at Augusta

Augusta, Apr 12: Tiger Woods, who returned to the golf course to reclaim his turf after a five month break in the wake of sex scandal, ended his comeback campaign at the US Masters in the fourth place.

After starting off the Augusta journey with an impressive show in the first two rounds, Tiger Woods dished out a huge disappointment to his fans on Sunday, Apr 11.

The World number one golfer's long-time rival Phil Mickelson stole the show to become the eighth player to win the title at least three times.

Tiger Woods himself has won the Masters titles four-times and it was the tournament where he won his first major title.

“I only enter events to win and I didn"t get it done. “I didn"t hit the ball good enough and I made too many mistakes around the greens," Tiger Woods said.

Woods' loss has left his fans and critics wondering if the past few months' events and developments hindered the sportsman's performance.

The golfer took a break from the professional sport following the car crash in Nov 2009, which led to the secrets of his personal and sexual life fall out in the open through the media.

As of now, Woods seems to be undecided as to which tournament he will be pouncing on next.
