Tiger Woods thanks Masters fans for support

By Super Admin

New York, Apr 24 (ANI): Tiger Woods has thanked his followers for cheering him on during his return to golf at The Masters.

The New York Daily News reports, in a posting on his website Friday, Woods wrote: "I honestly didn't know what to expect from the fans, but they were absolutely incredible from Monday through Sunday.

"It was unreal. They definitely helped me mentally to be more comfortable out there. I was hoping for the best. To get that type of warmth is something I did not expect and will never forget."

Woods also talked out using "bad language" and adding that he's "not perfect."

"It's tough when you're in a competitive environment and in the flow of a tournament. I'm not perfect," Woods wrote. "All I can say is I'm trying to do everything I can without losing my fire and competitive spirit."

The sportstar also referred to his fellow PGA Tour golfers and the "distractions" that he caused them.

"It was also great to see all the guys," he wrote. "They had been asked a lot of questions in my absence and handled the distractions very well. I appreciate their support, but it felt good to try and beat them again." (ANI)
