Tiger Woods, wife apologise to daughter's school

New York, February 24 (ANI): Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren have apologised to the private pre-school attended by their two-year-old daughter Sam over the excessive media scrutiny surrounding their private lives since the sex scandal involving the ace golfer broke out.

The couple was said to have offered their apology in a letter, obtained by WFTV.com, to the school in Windemere, the New York Daily News reported.

The note apparently read:

"Dear Premier Academy parents,

"We would like to share our appreciation for your support over the past several months and offer our personal apology for any inconvenience you are experiencing due to the increased media scrutiny surrounding our children."

The pair continued: "We truly understand how frustrating it can be. We hope that the paparazzi will find something better to do with their time in the near future." (ANI)
