Tiliya Sainik School of Jharkhand wins All-India Inter-Zonal Champ

Purulia, Sep 29 (UNI) Riding on striker Sushil Sourav's two goals, one in each half of the match, Jharkhand's Tiliya Sainik School trounced Sujapur Sainik School of Himachal Pradesh 2-0 to win the All-India Sainik Schools Inter-Zonal Hockey Championship, played at Purulia Sainik School ground here today.

Jharkhand striker Bibek Tirkey was the highest scorer, who netted seven goals in four league matches.

Besides hosts Purulia, Satara of Maharastra and Bijapur of Karnataka took part in the Iner-zonal tie, being champions of their respective zones.
