TN players advance in Chess tourney

Kozhikode, Aug 8 (UNI) Top seed P Karthikeyan and International Master R R Laxman, both from Tamil Nadu, were among 22 players leading with two points each in the second round of the S K Pottekkat Gold Medal Fide-rated All India Open Chess tournament 2007 here today.

The eighth and final round of the Rs one lakh prize money event would be held on August 12.
