Top players to take part in SPA Classic Squash

Mumbai, July 18: The country's leading players will feature in the first SPA Classic Squash Championship, sponsored by Patel Retail and the Squash Rackets Federation of India (SRFI), that will be held at the Otters Club in suburban Bandra from August 8 to 12.

The championship, being organised under the aegis of the SRFI, will include three categories - men, professionals and over-35.

Total prize money amounts to an impressive Rs 3.7 lakh, with the Men's winner earning Rs 70,000 and runner-up Rs 50,000.

The Professional winner will earn Rs 40,000, while the runner-up will receive Rs 25,000.

The last date for entries is July 31.
