Tripura out for 275 against underdogs Jammu and Kashmir

Patiala, Dec 2 (UNI) Tripura were all out for 275 against the underdogs Jammu and Kashmir on the first day of the 4-day tie in Cooch Behar Trophy (Under-19) here today at the Dhruv Pandove Cricket Stadium.

Tripura won the toss and opted to bat first.

Amit Das played a scintillating innings of 118, hitting 18 boundaries, while facing 251 balls.

He cut and drove with aplomb and was a picture of great confidence throughout his century-making effort.

Rana Dutta (37), N D Chowdhary (27) and J Das (23) were the other run getters for Tripura.

For J and K, Manik Gupta bowled well to capture 4 wickets, giving away 90 runs, while M Mudassar took 3 for 72.

P Rasool captured 2 wickets, conceding 53 runs. At close of play, J and K were 4 for no loss in one over.

Ankit Basan is 4 not out, while the other batsman Adil Rishi is yet to open his account.
