Twenty-20 Challenger Cup in September
Chandigarh, Mar 31 (UNI) The Twenty-20 Cricket Federation of India will host the International Twenty-20 Challenger Cup here in the second week of September.
Teams from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, USA, South Africa, Canada, Nepal and, England apart from India were likely to take part in the international tournament, Chandigarh Twenty-20 Cricket Association president Tejpal Singh and general secretary Sutixen Mehta said here today.
They however, expressed doubts about Pakistan's participation.
The CT20CA will also conduct All-India Twenty-20 Tournament for Under 19 from April 19 to 23.
Meanwhile, India defeated Nepal 4-1 in a five-match friendship series held in Nepal from March 23 to 27, they informed.
Love Kumar Singh Sandhu, Harpreet Singh and Navvrose Preet Singh Sihota were declared Man of the Series, best batsman and best bowler respectively.
