The Miami Heat, leading the Southeast Division, are set to welcome back Tyler Herro for their game against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday. This marks Herro's return after ankle surgery in September. Last season, Herro achieved personal bests with 23.9 points and 5.5 assists per game, alongside 5.2 rebounds. He played a career-high 77 games and won the three-point contest during the All-Star weekend.

Herro ranked sixth in the NBA last season with 251 successful three-pointers. The Heat currently hold an 11-6 record, leading the Southeast by half a game over the Atlanta Hawks, who stand at 11-7. However, Miami's current top scorer, Norman Powell, averaging 25.4 points per game, will miss the match against Dallas due to a strained left groin.

In addition to Powell's absence, Nikola Jovic and Andrew Wiggins are also sidelined with hip injuries. Meanwhile, Herro is listed as questionable for tonight's game against the Mavericks due to his recent recovery from ankle surgery.
