Tyson Fury Discusses His First Defeat To Oleksandr Usyk Ahead Of Upcoming Rematch
Tyson Fury remains unfazed by his first professional loss to Oleksandr Usyk in May as they gear up for their rematch this weekend. Despite being undefeated for 17 years since an amateur loss to Maksim Babanin in 2007, Fury is focused on reclaiming his WBC Heavyweight title on Saturday. He told Sky Sports, "I haven't had any thoughts about it really. It hasn't affected me."
Fury emphasised that the past does not concern him, and he is concentrating solely on the present moment. He stated, "I haven't done anything different to what I would have done had I got the decision. I've not really thought about it to be fair. I don't focus on the past, I just concentrate on the day in hand."

While Fury claims not to dwell on his previous defeat, he acknowledges that avenging his loss serves as a motivation ahead of their clash in Riyadh. He expressed, "Sometimes I think about someone having got a decision over me and I want to reverse that in the rematch. Obviously I'm a competitor, I'm competitive. So I do think like that."
The upcoming fight promises to be intense as both fighters aim to assert dominance in the ring once more. Fury's determination to reclaim his title adds another layer of intrigue to this highly anticipated rematch.
The boxing world eagerly awaits this showdown between two formidable opponents. With both fighters bringing their best strategies and skills, fans can expect an electrifying encounter that will keep them on the edge of their seats.
