Bengaluru, March 2: The Ultimate Fighting Championship return to their base this weekend as T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada is ready to host UFC 222: Cyborg vs. Kunitskaya on Saturday (March 3).
After the featherweight championship main event bout between Max Holloway and Frankie Edgar was cancelled, UFC 222 faced a threat of losing its pay-per-view status.
However, in stepped the women's featherweight champion, Cris Cyborg to save the event from becoming a free event as she puts her belt on the line against the Invicta bantamweight champ Yana Kunitskaya who makes her UFC debut on the night.
Plus, in the co-main event we probably have a more fascinating matchup between Edgar and Brian Ortega, with the winner getting a shot at featherweight champ Holloway.
Also on the 12 bout semi-stacked UFC 222 fight card, are the likes of Andrei Arlovski, Sean O'Malley, Cat Zingano, Bryan Caraway and John Dodson.
