UFC 285 headlined by two world championship bouts

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to it's base in Las Vegas for a potential event of the year this weekend with a stacked card in UFC 285: Jones vs. Gane, which is headlined by two thrilling championship bouts.

The main event of UFC 285 will mark the much anticipated return of former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who faces current No. 1 UFC heavyweight contender Ciryl Gane for the vacant UFC heavyweight title.

Plus, in the co-main event, dominant UFC women's flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko aims to defend her title for the eighth time against No. 6 ranked Alexa Grasso.

Also on the main card, a thrilling welterweight contest sees No. 7 ranked Geoff Neal battle No. 10 Shavkat Rakhmonov after lightweights No. 7 ranked Mateusz Gamrot and No. 10 ranked Jalin Turner clash.

In the main card opener, Bo Nickal makes his highly anticipated UFC debut against Jamie Pickett at middleweight after former UFC bantamweight king Cody Garbrandt returns to action against Trevin Jones in a bout that closes the preliminary card.

The preliminary card also features three more bouts that will see the likes of Derek Brunson, Dricus du Plessis, Viviane Araujo, Amanda Ribas, Julian Marquez and Marc-Andre Barriault in action.

Meanwhile, the early preliminary card will see the likes of Ian Garry, Song Kenan, Cameron Saaiman, Leomana Martinez, Jessica Penne, Tabatha Ricci, Da'Mon Blackshear, Farid Basharat, Esteban Ribovics and Loik Radzhabov do battle.
