The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Newark, New Jersey to host UFC 288: Sterling vs. Cejudo, which is headlined by a blockbuster champ vs former champ match in the bantamweight division.

In the main event, undisputed UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling will put his belt on the line against former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo, an Olympic wrestler making his return to the Octagon after three years.

Sterling rides an 8-fight win streak. Cejudo is one of the best fighters in history. This title bout is truly one for the ages! This champ-versus-former champ battle will play out at the Prudential Center in Newark - the ninth UFC event to be held in the historic arena.

In the co-main event, two massive fan favorite welterweights collide when No. 4 ranked Belal "Remember the Name" Muhammad takes on No. 5 ranked Gilbert "Durinho" Burns, and both have their eyes set on title contention.

Also on the main card, China's super striker No. 6 women's strawweight Yan Xiaonan makes her bid for a future contender's spot against reigning queen Zhang Weili by facing former champion No. 4 ranked Jessica Andrade.

In the scheduled main card opener, Kron Gracie makes his highly anticipated return to the
Octagon against Charles Jourdain at featherweight after Elite lightweights meet as No. 14 ranked contender Drew Dober steps into the Octagon to face Matt Frevola to close the preliminary card.

In the only other fights on the preliminary card, Light heavyweights Kennedy Nzechukwu and Devin Clark lock horns after Khaos Williams intends to spoil the UFC debut of Rolando Bedoya at welterweight.

Plus, No. 5 ranked women's strawweight contender Marina Rodriguez aims to defend her spot in the rankings against No. 9 ranked Virna Jandiroba after Heavyweights Braxton Smith and Parker Porter do battle to close the early preliminary card.

The early prelims will also see the likes of Phil Hawes, Ikram Aliskerov, Rafael Estevam, Zhalgas Zhumagulov, Joseph Holmes, Claudio Ribeiro, Daniel Santos and Johnny Munoz Jr. in action.
