For the first numbered event of 2024, the Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Toronto, Canada with UFC 297: Strickland vs. Du Plessis, which is set to be headlined by a championship double header.
In the main event, new middleweight champion Sean Strickland takes on heated rival No. 2 ranked contender Dricus Du Plessis, while a new women's bantamweight champion will be crowned when No. 2 ranked contender Raquel Pennington battles Mayra Bueno Silva in the co-main event.

Also on the main card, No. 13 ranked welterweight contender Neil Magny looks to halt the momentum of surging Canadian Mike Malott after No. 14 ranked middleweight contender Chris Curtis takes on heavy-handed Marc-Andre Barriault.
In the main card opener, No. 4 ranked featherweight contender Arnold Allen squares off with undefeated No. 9 Movsar Evloev after two-time TUF winner Brad Katona collides with Garrett Armfield in a bantamweight bout that will close the preliminary card.
The prelims will also see Charles Jourdain meets Sean Woodson in an exciting featherweight tilt after Dana White's Contender Series contract winners rematch when Serhiy Sidey faces Ramon Taveras at bantamweight.
The prelims will open with submission ace Gillian Robertson taking on Polyana Viana at flyweight after Yohan Lainesse meets Sam Patterson in a battle of welterweight Dana White's Contender Series signees to close the early preliminary card.
The early prelims will also see Canada's own Jasmine Jasudavicius face off with Priscila Cachoeria in a women's flyweight bout after hometown flyweight Malcolm Gordon takes on Jimmy Flick in the event opener.
