For the third numbered event of 2024, the Ultimate Fighting Championship heads to Miami, Florida this weekend with most highly anticipated event - UFC 299: O'Malley vs. Vera 2, which is set to be headlined by a world championship bout.
In the main event of UFC 299, Sean "Suga" O'Malley defends his UFC bantamweight belt in a rematch against the only man to give him a loss on his record, the dangerous Marlon "Chito" Vera.

In the co-main event, one of the greatest lightweights ever and former Interim champion, No. 3 Dustin Poirier, will take on surging finisher and No. 12 ranked Benoit Saint Denis.
Also on the main card, a pair of welterweight thrillers are lined up as No. 13 ranked Kevin Holland welcomes Michael 'Venom' Page to UFC, and No. 4 ranked Gilbert Burns gives No. 11 ranked Jack Della Maddalena a shot at the top ten.
In the main card opener, "The Kung Fu Kid" Song Yadong, No. 7 ranked bantamweight, begins his climb into title contention by taking on the fierce former interim champion, No. 5 ranked Petr Yan.
The preliminary card also is also stacked with some top ranked contenders as No. 5 ranked heavyweight Curtis Blaydes is determined to take down No. 7 ranked Jailton Almeida after No. 4 ranked flyweight Katlyn Cerminara battles No. 6 Maycee Barber.
Plus, No. 6 ranked lightweight Mateusz Gamrot seeks victory over former champion and No. 11 Rafael Dos Anjos after No. 12 ranked bantamweight Pedro Munhoz locks horns with Kyler Phillips.
The early prelims will see five more bouts featuring the likes of Ion Cutelaba, Philipe Lins, Michel Pereira, Michal Oleksiejczuk, Robelis Despaigne, Josh Parisian, C.J. Vergara, Assu Almabayev, Joanne Wood and Maryna Moroz.
