UFC Fight Night 125: Machida vs. Anders fight card and schedule

Bengaluru, February 2: The Ultimate Fighting Championship are in Brazil this weekend as Arena Guilherme Paraense in Belém is all set to host UFC Fight Night 125: Machida vs Anders on Saturday (February 3).

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida looks to get back on track when he meets Eryk Anders in the main event of UFC Belem.

The Brazilian legend - who is not won since 2014 - returned in October after more than two years away from the sport, but was knocked out by Derek Brunson in the first round.

Machida, who is on a three match skid now takes on unbeaten prospect Anders, who is 2-0 in the UFC and 10-0 in his career since his debut in 2015.

The main card also features the likes of John Dodson, Valentina Shevchenko and rising heavyweight prospect Marcelo Golm. Shevchenko, who lost to Amanda Nunes in UFC 215 faces promotional newcomer Priscila Cachoeira in her first flyweight bout.

Bantamweight's Dodson meets Pedro Munhoz, while Golm fight Timothy Johnson in a heavyweight bout. Plus, we also have Thiago Santos taking on Anthony Smith in middleweight and Desmond Green fights Michael Prazeres in lightweight.

On the preliminary card a welterweight showdown between Sergio Moraes and Tim Means is the headliner. While it also features Ecuadorian Marlon Vera, Brazil's Alan Patrick, Douglas Silva de Andrade and Iuri Alcantara among others.

The event takes place on Saturday (February 3) in Belem, Brazil, meaning it will be shown in India on Sunday (February 4).
