Bengaluru, March 16: The Ultimate Fighting Championship travel to the United Kingdom this weekend as the O2 Arena in London is set to host UFC Fight Night 127: Werdum vs. Volkov on Saturday (March 17).
The event is headlined by the heavyweight contest between Fabricio Werdum and Alexander Volkov. While a light heavyweight battle between Brit Jimmy Manuwa and Pole Jan Blachowicz is set to be the co-main event of UFC London.

As far as the main event contestants are concerned, Werdum is ranked number three in the world with Volkov at eight and undefeated in the UFC, so the winner will get in front of the queue for a title shot later in the year.

The co-main eventers, Manuwa is fresh from a first round knock out defeat to Volkan Oezdemir at UFC 214. While Blachowicz is on the back of a two fight winning streak, the latest being a decision win against Jared Cannonier at UFC on FOX 26.
There is also plenty of British interest on the card, with Leon Edwards, Stevie Ray, Mark Godbeer and Paul Craig all stepping into the cage.
